Spreadsheets are a fine start
If you have one batch and you are the only person who edits the file, a workbook can be enough. The cost of software is not justified by a dozen rows.
The pain starts when:
- More than one person must update fees or attendance
- Parents ask for history, not a screenshot
- Teachers and office staff need different access

What dedicated software is for
A coaching operations tool is a shared register with roles: who is enrolled, who attended, what is due, what was assigned. It is not a replacement for Tally, a bank app, or an LMS with video hosting.
