About Edunza

Security and your data

How Edunza approaches account security and keeping your institution's information safe.

Last updated: 2026-05-17

Your data belongs to your organization

Information you enter—student names, fees, attendance, and reports—is stored for your account and used to run the features you enable. Edunza is built for educational operations, not for selling student lists to advertisers.

Account security

  • Sign in with your email and password (managed through secure authentication services).
  • Use a strong, unique password and do not share login details with unauthorized people.
  • Staff employee accounts should only be created for real center employees who need access; remove or disable login when someone leaves your institute.

Access inside your institute

  • Tutors see their own students and batches.
  • Centers control teachers, staff employees, and institution-wide settings.
  • Staff employees see only the modules their center assigns (office work and facilitation—not full admin by default).

Plan-gated features (payroll, API access, etc.) appear only when your subscription includes them.

Best practices for centers

  1. Review who has login access regularly.
  2. Train staff employees and teachers not to share passwords or leave sessions open on shared computers.
  3. Export or back up important records according to your internal policies (where export features are available on your plan).
