What this feature does
Batches are your teaching groups—a class, section, or course group with a name, schedule, and teacher. Students are individual learners. Enrollment connects a student to a batch so attendance, fees, and assignments apply to the right group.
This is the foundation of Edunza: most other features build on batches and students.
Batches
With batches you can:
- Name and describe each class (e.g. “NEET Physics – Batch A”)
- Set days and times so you know when sessions run
- Assign a teacher (centers with multiple teachers)
- See enrolled students in one view
Centers may configure additional session details; tutors typically manage their own batches directly.
Students
Each student profile can hold:
- Name and contact information
- Notes useful for your institute
- Links to fee and attendance history through their batches
Enrollment
Enrollment answers: “Which students are in which batch?” A student can be in more than one batch if your institute allows it.
Without enrollment, a student exists in the system but is not part of a class group’s daily workflow.

Who uses this most?
- Tutors — all core student and batch work
- Centers — multiple batches, teachers, and larger student lists
- Staff employees — center office/facilitation staff may view or update records only on modules their center assigns (for example enrollment or batches)
After you sign up
Once you have an account, you will use the Batches, Students, and Student Enrollment sections in your dashboard. Start with one batch and a few students to get comfortable.
