Assignments and tests

Create assignments and tests, distribute them to batches, and track student work in Edunza.

Last updated: 2026-05-01

What this feature does

The Assignments area helps you create academic work—homework, practice sheets, tests—and connect it to the right batch so the correct students are included.

You can:

  • Create and edit assignments or tests
  • Add descriptions and supporting material
  • Track submissions and performance over time
  • Use results alongside progress reports for a complete academic picture

Typical uses

  • Weekly homework for a batch
  • Chapter tests before exams
  • Practice problems with due dates
  • Internal assessments at coaching centers

How it fits your workflow

  1. Batches and students must exist (and students enrolled).
  2. Create an assignment linked to a batch.
  3. Students or assigned staff employees record completion according to your process.
  4. Review outcomes and discuss in class or in progress reports.

Tutors vs centers

  • Tutors use assignments for their own batches.
  • Centers may have multiple teachers creating work for different batches; staff employees may coordinate or enter data if their center assigns them access to Assignments.

Tips

  • Use clear titles (e.g. “Week 3 – Algebra test”) so lists stay searchable.
  • Align due dates with your batch schedule.
  • Combine with Attendance and progress when talking to parents.
